It is a 21-seminar series session for women business owners, 2 1/2 hours each week. This program was condensed in 1995 to a 5-hour program. WEDA also provides mentoring and one-on-one counseling. The majority of clients are African-American women, however, it is open to all individuals, including men. Topics covered in the training program include marketing, business planning, accounting and finance, contract negotiation, and domestic and international procurement.
