Knowing the most effective practices for hiring, retaining, and marketing to people with disabilities can add value to bottom line. This year’s event promises to provide numerous educational sessions in a dynamic and open environment. So if you are new to disability issues or even a seasoned professional, there will be plenty of actionable learning.

Keynotes include:
Kathy Martinez, Assistant Secretary for DOL’s Office of Disability Employment
Neil Romano, CEO of Creating Opportunities by Recognizing Abilities (CORA) and former ODEP Assistant Secretary

This year’s US BLN Conference again will feature training by JAN Consultants. The Conference will also provide the venue for JAN’s 25th Anniversary Celebration featuring comedian, Paralympic ski racer and nationally known motivational speaker, Josh Sundquist. The Conference will also serve as a preview to the launch of the winning video from the Campaign for Disability Employment Policy’s “What Can You Do?” campaign to increase the value of people with disabilities in the workplace. A public service announcement developed by Campaign members will also be screened.

So, please join the most dynamic and insightful thought leaders in the disability and workforce arena at the 2009 US BLN Conference.
