Centers for Independent Living Independent Living Centers are typically non-residential, private, non-profit, consumer-controlled, community-based organizations that provide services and advocacy by and for persons with all types of disabilities.

ADA and IT Technical Assistance Centers - Disability and Business Technical Assistance Centers (DBTACs) The National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) has established ten regional centers to provide information, training, and technical assistance to employers, people with disabilities, and other entities with responsibilities under the ADA.

Local Protection and Advocacy and Client Assist Programs The Protection and Advocacy (P&A) System and Client Assistance Program (CAP) comprise the nationwide network of congressionally mandated, legally-based disability rights agencies.
