Burr joined the JAN staff as a Consultant on the motor team in July 2009. As a Consultant on JAN’s motor team, Burr fields questions from employees and employers regarding their rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and assists in identifying accommodation solutions for employees with motor impairments.
Burr graduated in May 2009 with a Master’s of Social Work (MSW) degree from West Virginia University (WVU) in the Community Organization / Social Administration (COSA) track with a field of practice in health care. Burr graduated undergrad at WVU in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major in Sociology (with a focus on social inequality) and English. Burr was employed as a Crisis Stabilization Specialist from October 2004 to July 2009 at Valley Health Care System (a community mental health center in North Central West Virginia).
