Lizmery is a native of Trinidad and Tobago Citizen (Born in Caracas, Venezuela). She graduated from the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) in 2006 with a B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry.

Lizmery is currently working on her Master of Science degree in forensic biology: DNA analysis. As a Graduate Assistant at JAN, Lizmery translates JAN documents into Spanish and works with JAN consultants to meet the needs of the Hispanic American workforce.
